AUTOMATION AND INTELLIGENT ROBOTICS GROUP

The group of research in automation and intelligent robotics (NAUTEC) has as objective research and develop new computational techniques and algorithms for analysis, modelling and control of sensors and actuators networks, those constituted by Automation Systems and grouped in Robotics Systems. Since it's foundation in 2001, the group has been developing researches focused on new applications in education; oil, gas and energy industry; oceanic and offshore ecosystems. Formed by a group of more than 20 researchers (professors and technicians), 15 postgraduating (doctors and masters) and 40 students in graduation, the research group acts in many projects with governmental institutions and companies, also participates in both international and national cooperation.

Due to it's researches, the group NAUTEC develop it's actions surrounding these research fields:

- Robotic Systems, equipments and devices;

- Machine Learning;

- Sensors and actuators networks;

- High performance computation;
